General Education Requirements for Four-year Degree Programmes

There is considerable variation in programme structure, even within the same institution.
In general, students in four-year degree programmes are required to complete a certain
number of GE courses, usually in their first and second year of study. A brief description of GE
        programmes available is provided below.

The number of credits varies for different majors. As an example, students of the 4-year BBA
degree programme have to take 132 credits, 18 to 27 of which are GE credits. Students have
to take five required GE courses, and two to five elective GE courses.
